What your child will experience at our Sunday School
We are very excited to announce we are moving to what is formally called a “rotational model”.
Yes, it’s a fancy name that doesn’t mean a whole lot to the casual observer. But what it means is a more in-depth program for our children. It means they will work more closely with stories in the Bible that will help them gain a better understanding of what it means for us today. It will help them explore the vastness of God’s love which was sent to us in Jesus Christ.
They will spend on average, about 4 weeks looking at various stories in the Bible. This may make it sound like it will be boring since they’ll be hearing the same things over and over again. Not so. It means they will be learning in new and exciting ways.
Each week will consist of a different activity based on the story. Activities such as art and crafts, drama, music, cooking, and who knows what else! And they will have opportunities to show the congregation what they have been learning on a regular basis.
We believe that this approach will show our kids they can have fun learning about the Bible and God, they will meet more people in the church, and they will be shown that they are invaluable members of our faith community.
